in my "your account" page, at the bottem it shows "Projects in which you are participating"
and it only shows 2 of the 4 in which i am perticipating in, is this because i havn't received any credit yet for the other 2?
or is something wrong?

"your account" question

It could be that you haven't received any credit yet. I'm not sure.

It also could be a split CPID.

Check your stats someplace like BOINC Stats and see if your user name shows up more than once.

Heck if I know. But the code would be in Trac somewhere.

"Don't quote me", but...
(This is what I've gathered from the message boards, especially at SETI@home or SAH Beta.)

  • 1. When you sign up to your first project, a 'CPID' is created/generated.
    2. As long as you are connected to '1st Project' in BOINC, every new project you connect to through BOINC will use the CPID. (The current CPID is stored in a XML file on your computer.)
    3. If you Detach every project, there is a

chance the next project you attach to will attempt to generate a CPID (in lieu/imitation of 'Attach to 1st project').
4. If there is a problem communicating with a project, it may not realize that your computer is the same UserID/Host combination as the last XX connections. A new CPID might be generated.

OK, I know, but I meant: Where is the data from the other projects coming from (on the "your account" page)?

And sorry for the late reply...
