I'm attempting to run work units on ubuntu x64 versions 8.04 and 7.10 and having no luck. I get non stop computational errors and no complete wu's.

I've been using boinc version 5.10.45 64 bit. Is there something special I have to do with the einstein xml files to configure for this setup? The application boinc is using is shown as einstein_S5R3 version 438

I have no problems running other projects on these same setups. The stdout files dont show anything obvious wrong. What could be going haywire?

I've moved this to the "Problems" section.

The app itself is a 32 bit application, maybe you are missing the 32 bit compatibility libraries? I understand they are not installed by default on Ubuntu.

You have to make sure the

You have to make sure the ia32-libs package is installed. Otherwise, the workunits die quickly and you'll get dropped down to 1 workunit per processing core in pretty short order. I learned the hard way as well.
