For my particular Linux box and CPU architecture, I have had recently 7 failed work units -- maybe due to compiler issues for my CPU design.

Under normal conditions your computer shouldn't get these tasks & application assigned by the scheduler. You are forcing it by using "Anonymous Platform" with an application binary unknown to us. Sorry, there is no way to even debug this from our side.

)
Why do you want to get credit for something that didn't work? The credit is only an approximation of the amount of useful work that has been contributed to the project. I certainly wouldn't want credit for anything else and don't think it should be seen as something akin to bonus points that are given to children to encourage them to do their chores and homework.
