Work units “sent� to computer but not “on� computer!

I just joined like many others and quickly attached one of my computers. Since then I have finished one work unit and have several others currently running. I was comparing the number of work units that I have on my computers to the number that I have bending, taking into account I have not reset my account since I joined.
I found 3 E@h WU on my computers but the results page has me at 6 which are waiting to be sent back to them.
I noticed this a long time ago on LHC@home where I would not reset my computers at all but have a large number of WU that returned at no reply even though work units downloaded after them were completed successfully and well within the the time frame.
So, my observation is that the scheduler is sending work units to the computers but they are not getting there. This slows down everything. Can anyone else verify my observation?

After restarting my computer several times, upgrading from version 4.15 -> 4.16 then from 4.16 -> 4.15 then back to version 4.16 the work units in question "suddenly" showed up on my commuters.
It may not be a bug but it is definitely odd behavior.
