    Most, if not all, of the Eienstein work Ive done has taken 8+ hours, minimum, to complete. Is this normal, or is my computer simply ancient?

      Nevermind, i did some research and found out that the average time to do Einstein@Home work is pretty lenghty.....

        Nevermind, i did some research and found out that the average time to do Einstein@Home work is pretty lenghty.....

        Lucky you, it takes 5+ days to complete ;^)

          I have AMD 64B 3000+ processor with measured floating point speed
          about 1900 million ops/sec and it takes 4 1/2 hours to finish
          one WU
