Thank you very much!! It's been 3 days since my surgery and today was ALOT easier to move around than any of the previous days. I am doing my exercises and today I could walk around the house without stopping every step that made it alot easier to get around!!!

Welcome back to the never ending drama of E@H!!   ;^)

I'm glad that you're at least somewhat getting up and about.  I'm SURE it's hard, but "you gotta do what the Doc says".

I am doing what the Dr

I am doing what the Dr ordered, well mostly anyway, AND I did leave the rolly walker at home for a short walk to 2 close neighbors homes that are just moving in with just a cane. It wasn't the walking it was the standing around talking that wore me out and showed me I MUST get back to eating more than just 2 protein bars per day again!!

Thanks for all the encouraging words and I really am doing those exercises!!

Mikey, last summer I stayed

Mikey, last summer I stayed with my 84-year old father for 4 weeks, helping him recover from his knee replacement surgery.  He is now getting around quite nicely and starting to play golf again.  Hope your recovery is equally uneventful!

Sorry for the double post in

Sorry for the double post in the word link thread.  I had a lapse in situational awareness.

Thank you it's now been 3 weeks and I'm now walking without a cane or walker, yes it's still stiff in the mornings when I wake up and yes I'm still doing PT as I don't have full range of motion yet, but it does bend more than 100 degrees towards my butt and I can stand on it without any problems. I did drive a golf cart around the neighborhood yesterday and had no problems at all, no it's not a car but when I see the Dr in a couple weeks the PT guy thinks the Dr will let me drive a car again.
