This has to do with BAM changing the EaH master URL. They changed it back now and the status should be reset. If not you need to contact someone on the BAM forums on how to get this sorted out.
IF you're comfortable editing the client_state.xml file, deleting the <detach_when_done/> will clear that flag and then you can just toggle no new tasks off in the boinc UI.
