I have a similar GPU. It's a MSI R7 260X OC 2GB and it's in an old Q8400 quad core host. I currently run 3x on the GPU and only 2 of 4 CPU cores run CPU tasks. I've tried it at 2x, 3x and 4x. There were some errors at 4x. 2x runs fine and so does 3x. I've been giving it a prolonged test at 3x and the output is maybe a tiny bit better. If I went back to 2x with 3 CPU tasks, that might be slightly better but I haven't tested that yet. It's the middle of summer and machines with reduced CPU load seem to be less likely to crash so I've been happy to run it like this until much cooler weather arrives. The machine room today is 34C.
I just took a look at the uptime - 93 days - not too bad :-). I didn't realise it had been on prolonged test for that long :-).

After 2 days running 1 WU at a time no problem, switch now to 2 WU at a time, lets see if the error return.
