I have a core 2 duo e8600 3.33 ghz with a NVidia Quadro 2000 its getting around 10,500 avg credit. My i7 920 2.67 ghz gets around 5,100 avg credit. both computers are on 24/7. I'm not sure why the i7's score is so low, any thoughts?

Your core2 duo has a CUDA-capable GPU and i7 doesn't (or at least boinc doesn't detect it). GPUs are much faster crunchers than CPUs (in general). Besides the work on CPU, your Quadro is doing Binary Radio Pulsar Search project.

yeah i figured it would be the video card. that Quadro must be kicking some butt. My i7 only has a geforce 210. when i use it for Boinc my pc lag's too much.
so 2 core's plus good vid card way out preforms 8 cores with no vid I dont use it
