Every so often... I find that my system will not request new work etc.... and I will have to essentially reset the project inorder to continue with the project. What's up with this????

Why Do I Have To Reset Project Every So Often??

Most likely you occasionally go into EDF mode. When that happens the project causing EDF mode owes some CPU time to the other projects and will not download new work until the debt is paid back. If this is the case the best thing to do is leave it alone and let the client do it's job. You may also want to consider reducing the size of your queue. The general formula for maximum queue length is 40% of the shortest deadline divided by the number of projects.

I first thought it might be

I first thought it might be the "max daily quota" at work here, but you only get through ~8 WU/day.
Your queue IS short here on einstein anyway.. (1 WU at a time)
