whats up with the work 4x64?

i noticed last night that work with a name 4x64 was loaded and working. it was listed as needing 16 hours to complete. any info on these type segments?

Since you are running on "Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64 Edition, Service Pack 1, (06.01.7601.00)", I think those are tasks destined for the CPU (as opposed to the "BRP4cuda32nv301" ones).

Seems likely to be BRP work that was assigned to your CPU, as distinct from most of your BRP work which arrives designated for your GPU.

It seems unlikely to be an attribute of the WU itself, as your quorum partners for the ones I checked are GPU-assigned.

I guess this has changed. There are work units that work on GPU's and the same is crossed over to CPU's. BM said the CPU's will be stopping so we keep enough work for the GPU's but this was 15 Mar 2013... I guess we can still run the CPU task version of the GPU's work units.
