I have 3 computers and the 3 computers have a different Host Credit. What is it Host Credit? Is that used for what? Sometimes when I make 1 Credit (ready to report: 100%), the Credit is counted in Host Credit and not in Total Credit. Thank you for your information.

What is Host Credit?
)
A host is one computer. If you have 3 computers you have 3 hosts.
So Host Credit means the individual credit for each computer.
btw,You should merge some of your computers in here.. feels like there are some inactive duplicates in there. ;)

Html doesn't work anymore. Try using the BBCode, when you reply to a message a link to the help page appears to the left of the reply box. Or click this link.
The link to Mirage3C's hosts is here
Got it,thanks. :)

The Wiki is your friend. Read the BOINC FAQ on credit, then look up the words of claimed credit, total credit, ....

I have noticed also a difference between Total Credit and Host Credit at Einstein, but never ran two computers. At LHC and Seti Host and Total Credit is equal.
Any idea about this?

Eh.. sorry if I'm stupid or blind.. but where do you guys find this "host credit"?
All I can find is "Total credit" inside each "computer ID"..which I belive you compare this "host credit" too.
I'm lost. :)
edit: Maybe I'm just drunk or something... You might just call this "host credit" and compare it too your real Total credit.
Gotta get my brain working again... :P

If you are looking at the graphics while Einstein is running, in the lower left corner are some lines. For Example:
User: Roswitha
Total Credit: 25630.91
Host Credit: 25069.35
Percent Done: 42.58%
The second WU (HT enabled) shows the same Credit Numbers but of course different "Percent Done".
My first tought was, it's because of the Hyperthreading - my Computer shows two CPUs in Profile, but I don't believe this, both WUs are showing the same and it would be a too big difference.

Ah,that explains it why I didn't find it.
I am affected by this ATI-no-graphics-bug,so I don't see any graphics.
Thanks. :)
ps.I know my graphics works with the BETA-app,but I don't wanna use it
because it doesn't update itself automatically if Einstein changes its app. ds.
.oO(wonder when that one becomes public..)

I just started reading through this thread and noticed that the difference in credit being discussed is also evident in the windows that open when you click on Roswitha's name (on the left, in blue, next to her posts) and then on "View" Computers.
The only reason I can think of, as to why this might be occurring is this: Did you ever have to detach Einstein and then reattach it? If so, you might have had earned some credit during the first attachment which stayed with your account. But, reattaching probably created a different host - the one that is currently in use. Note: I am speculating totally, here; and, therefore, could be way off base.
Anyway, I hope my first observation is helpful in getting some other (and more knowledgeable) people to look into this for you.
