What I took from it is that you have 2 projects running but only 1 slot available for processing.  I don't know if you are running 2 projects at the same time or if it is splitting it's time between the 2.

Might try suspending 1 project then exit boinc and restart and see if it resolves

Normally each task should use

Normally each task should use its own slot directory. In your case it seems that two tasks (from different projects) are using the same directory. If this happens again please select each task and click "Properties" to see which slot directory is used for each of them. It is listed as "Directory" and should start with "slots/". Different tasks should not have the same number here.

This might be a bug in the Macintosh Client where it either assigns the same slot to two different tasks or it wants to use the same lockfile for both tasks. Depending on what you see we can send a bug report to the BOINC developers.

Thanks, how often is this

Thanks, how often is this happening? How long does it last? Does it resolve itself or do you need to restart?
