Hi,
Ive been crunching einstein for a while but only just started again. I submitted a WU previously and that worked fine but now i got a work unit which i have been crunching for 68hrs. At 68hrs it was at 97% and and when i checked it 2hrs later it had gone to 2% and 168hrs remaining! CPU time had gone up to 70hrs so the project hadn't reset. Whats going on?
Thanks from down under Rohan

Wha? from 97% to 4% in 2hrs

Please check the file stderr.txt which is located in \\slots\\0.
Boinc Install path is normally 'c:\\program files\\boinc' on windows.
In this file you find current messages.
Sometimes it happens that the application can't access the checkpoint file correctly and starts the WU from the beginning...

This has also happened to me on a CPDN WU that had 68% done and over 1700 hours completed with 700 to go, now I have 5 hours completed, 68% done and 217 hours to go ?????
I have one of the latest Boinc Managers at 5.10.8 and it has only affected 1 WU of over a dozen other WU's from 5 other projects including Einstein (which is ok), on my AMD Opteron 285 (2 cpus/4 cores). My credit has not been affected as yet.
Is there a Boinc Manager bug out there we should know about?
I will not be happy if my 2400 hours WU has started from the beginning again.
