Any ideas?

Einstein has turned on the option to redownload lost results. If some type of catastrophy happens that results are undone and no longer on your machine, it will give them back to you.
All the projects have this option, I am unsure any others do it.

And it provides an easy way to get your WUs back after a reinstall of your OS.
Just merge the *new* and *old* host. All results not reported back by your *old* host are magically assigned to your *new* host.

That's a great idea! It should be active on all projects. I was asking about the same thing when BOINC Seti first came out. I kept loosing WU's :-(.
But all I got was the usual diatribe, "they'll disappear - you'll get new ones" and so on. That's one more indicator that Einstein is one of the best projects.
