I've tried talking to the Boinc folk before about this nonsense, but they won't listen.  This is messing with your server.  Can you work out why this is happening and fix something or tell the Boinc programmers to get their act together?

This is an 8 core Android device I've limited to 4 cores for Einstein because otherwise it runs short of RAM and screws up.  It usually does the other 4 cores on Universe, but they have a powercut at the moment, hence Boinc is going crazy trying to get more work for the other 4 cores from Einstein, which I've told it not to.

I would guess you are not

I would guess you are not using a new enough client to have the fix for work overfetch with max_concurrent statement in play.

I'm running the latest release for Android, 7.18.1, from here: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php

Do you know of a newer (Beta if necessary) version?
