Want to Format my PC!

Nope. You will only lose the work currently in progress. Credits and reported Results are stored on the server. You should do an "Update (preferences from) project" to make sure that finished results are reported before formatting the PC's harddrive.

Please refer to this page, Saenger told me that :

Copy everything that Boinc installed to another partition (or CD, if no other available, but beware of the write protection tag ;)
Install Windoze and put the backup back.
Install Boinc in the same directory. You have to install it, but all old
preferences, WUs... should just be read again.

Could this help you? ^_^

I f you upgrade to version

I f you upgrade to version 4.37 it has a feature where you can finish your current work units without recieving more. Then you can format to your hearts content and not have lost anything.

Note: Boinc 4.35 and 4.36 had several issues that 4.37 seems to have resolved.
