Hi, I'm having a problem with a lot of WU's waiting for validation. Since i'm new to Boinc I don't know if this is normal.
It actually seems like I have more WU's waiting for validation than have been validated and some of them have been waiting for some days.

This is actually quite normal and nothing to worry about. Every task is sent to two different hosts and validated by making sure both results match within certain error-limits.
If your PC runs 24/7 and you have a small work cache (the pool of tasks that you load in advance), you will return most results on the same day you received them. Others are only using Boinc sporadically, and because the deadline for returning tasks is about two weeks at E@H, it can actually take that long for results to validate. It can even take longer if the initially chosen other host fails to meet the deadline: then a new host is selected to verify your result, until someone delivers a second result.
After some time, an equilibrium between finished tasks and tasks validating will be reached.
