Just curious, if this is something serious or just an overdetection:

BOINC\ProgrammData\slots\1\boinc_task_state.xml

contains pattern

TR/Script.487343

Maybe AVIRA is overacting?  Haven't ever had such a 'hit'.

It is a trojan horse discovered Mar 2, 2018  --  and was shoved into Quarantine ...

Maybe someone has an idea (besides ignoring/deleting it).

I better stop editing and stop my rigs - we are expecting extreme weather right now - the whole works ...

THANKS

I'd say your anti virus tool

I'd say your anti virus tool is over reacting and it's just a false positive. Anti virus tools are often worse than the things that they intend to protect us against in my opinion. I fail to see how a generic text file can contain a virus (i.e. some piece of executable code) when it cannot know how the text file is processed.

... that was also my thinking

... that was also my thinking - but one never knows ...

I'll report it to AVIRA, just for the sake of it, and then delete it.

THANKS
