Thanks Martin. I know Hannover played a crucial role in the development of LIGO and Virgo lasers. I just took a course on quantum computers from Keio University, Japan, provided by FutureLearn and its main educator spoke about the use of one photon lasers. Maybe they will be used also in GW detection.
Inbetween I had contact to an official from GEO600. He said, GEO600 was running at that time, but it´s too insensitive for this signal. GEO600 is a test-bed for LIGO.
Thanks Martin. I know

Hallo!
Inbetween I had contact to an official from GEO600. He said, GEO600 was running at that time, but it´s too insensitive for this signal. GEO600 is a test-bed for LIGO.
Kind regards and happy crunching.
