I tried to run Einstein@Home tasks on my new 5700 XT but it seems VelaJr tasks are getting stuck at random places and never complete. I am using the latest driver 20.5.1. Any ideas?

Looking through the logs of

Looking through the logs of the 2 (at the moment) aborted tasks there seems to be quite a few restarts going on.
What are your Computing settings for "In use"? (click on "Advanced settings" to expand)
Are any set to suspend while in use?

Thanks for your reply. Yes,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, work gets suspended while the computer is in use. I used this setting mainly because I used to also compute on laptops which throttled a lot. Do you think the work gets stuck due to the related resumes?

Stopping GPU work will remove

Stopping GPU work will remove it from memory and when the task restarts it will do so from the latest checkpoint. If the task hasn't had the time to write a new checkpoint then it will just restart from the same place every time and that might look like it's getting stuck.

You can have different settings for different computers by assigning them to different locations.
To do this then first go to your account and click on one of your computers that you want to have a different prefs setup, the scroll to the bottom of the page and select one of the locations other than "Generic".
The next step is to go to your preferences and setup the location, select the same location in the preference set field and then edit that setup to not suspend while in use to see if this works better.
