When looking at my results I was surprised that a unit had validated on three results, as one of the others was completed in a very short time. I had to look and find out what super computer he is using, only to find that it was completed in about 20% of the hosts normal crunch time, 6,400 seconds as compared to 30,000 sec.
Is this possible?

Yes and no. The client is probably reporting an incorrect CPU time, for whatever reason. There have been clients which only reported the time since the last resume of the App, not of the whole run.

Happens to me from time to time too.
