How do I disable my GPU? Almost all of the workunits that used the GPU have invalidate errors. The GPU is taking up a processor while it runs.

On your Einstein@Home preferences page. set the third iten to 'no':

Use NVIDIA GPU if present
(enforced by 6.10+ clients) no

That should stop the server sending you new work assigned to the GPU: if you're using a v6.10.xx client, it'll stop the client asking for GPU work, too.

It won't affect any work you have already, just stop you getting new work.

It seems the APB's are not validating for some reason? Is it just me or are other people having the same problems?

Is there a problem

Is there a problem here?

Look at these results: every one has a validation error with a second computer showing a suspect result. They happen occasionally in the normal course of things, but this is a lot to have at once. Note, too, that some have one and sometimes two other computers returning a straight error.

At the same time, the daily validation error rate has increased substantially and abruptly.

I'm a newbie to this project.

I'm a newbie to this project. I started the calculation 5 days ago (Windows 7 64 bit, 4 cores, 1 CUDA). Everything works fine for Global Correlation S5 Search and Arecibo Binary Pulsar Search without CUDA. With CUDA about 50% of the results (20 in total) show validation errors. Is there something I can do? Any explanation?
