Quite surprised and proud for having been selected "user of the day".
Thanks a lot for this honour.
Jean-François
BTW how is the "User of The Day" selected ? Is it at random (in this case, I'll rush to get a National Lotery ticket) or due to some other reason (profile, recent activity on E@H, others ?)
JF
It's random with a few prerequisites:
* You have to have a profile
* I think you need to have earned at least 1 credit
* And I think that if you've been selected once then you're out of "the lottery" until you edit your profile.
The 'Real' selection process involves finding out
who mailed the largest shipment of Krugerrands
to (moderator) Mike Hewson (down unda )
That moves you 'way' up in the cue for UOTD )
Jean - if you did not do this? There must be a technical glitch )

Hi Bill. What do you mean by "Krugerrands" ? If it is the number of working units, I am far below a lot of other users !
Anyway, thanks for your post
JF
Thanks Zalster for the explanation.
I knew nothing on Krugerrands then I could not catch it was a joke from Bill. Now, I do appreciate it.

Thanks Bill. Rolls eyes .... I now have the Australian Federal Police cuffing me as we speak. :-)

Proficient in using that smartphone with you hands behind your back! :)
I went to see one of my Drs a couple of weeks ago and she got a message during out visit that she felt she had to respond to by texting a reply. I told my regular Dr the next day when I saw him 'she typed faster with one finger than I type with 2 hands and I took typing in school MANY years ago'. He laughed and said that she must be one of the 'new millennial' type Drs, I said 'yes she is about 35 years old'. We laughed and moved on, but her thumb was FLYING across those keys!!!
