I have received my URL and Account Key, but when I submit it to BOINC, BOINC says that it can't contact the url.

I have checked the URL carefully, and it *is* what it should be: http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/
I have also visited the URL successfully in my browser; so why can't BOINC find it?

Background: I have just installed BOINC a few minnutes ago to upgrade my Seti@Home client, and decide to add Einstein@Home also. Seti@Home is running successfully.

Are you using a proxy you should tell the client of?

Yes, I still had setiqueue in

Yes, I still had setiqueue in place for seti@home, and I'd told BOINC to use it for seti@home before I decided to go for einstein@home as well.

I now realise that BOINC has its own queuing mechanism, so setiqueue is no longer needed.

I removed it and removed the proxy setting, and now it works fine ... except that the http://setiathome.berkeley.edu site seems to have gone down in the interim. I guess that's a separate problem, though/

Yes, that's a separate problem ;)
But that's what Boinc is for, one project down :(seti atm), work for others :)

But I tried the HP of Seti-Classic as well, also no contact. So Setiqueue wouldn't have helped either.

edit
Just for info from Seti:
[i]Around 18:00 UTC we had another unexpected lab-wide power outage. Systems were able to shut down more gracefully than last time, but we are leaving many services off as we survey the damage. The cause of these outages is still unknown.
