Hi,

after I installed an additional video driver, I got:

11/12/2006 12:03:46|Einstein@Home|Unrecoverable error for result h1_0368.5_S5R1__24575_S5R1a_0 (Es gibt keine untergeordneten Prozesse, auf die gewartet werden muss. (0x80) - exit code 128 (0x80))

The box made no problems before this, so, why brings a change of the video-drivers such a problem ?

This is the box: http://einsteinathome.org/host/1877

and this are the results: http://einsteinathome.org/host/1877/tasks

BOINC is running as a service, so, normally, no graphics available ...

Supporting BOINC, a great concept !

As a service it may still have BOINC as the selected screensaver.
You might want to check out this thread too.

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Okay, as suggested in the mentioned thread, I updated DirectX 9 to the latest version; it seems, as if this solved the problem.
