I tried ti register using the "https://" URL and registration failed. I want to join project. What do I do?

I can see your computer and that you have completed one task and are now running a second task, that means at least that your account and that computer is registered and working just fine. If you are trying to add a second computer just use the same name and password that you did for the first computer and then they will both be registered to you.
