transient HTTP error on download and upload of data templates

    We have a good mount of data in our computing cluster waiting to be uploaded and they're blocked, i.e.:

    It would be a waste of crunched data to clear these.  It looked like it started on June 19 at around 1PM.  Please have a look and advise.

      For the record: This is an issue with the University firewall in Hannover. We are in contact to solve this problem. This usually happens when the Firewall erroneously detects a DDoS attempt from institutional EaH users and blocks the IP.

        Hi Christian,

        What's the status with the firewall unblocking the LIGO-CIT cluster in Hannover?

        We have a good number of cluster nodes that are stalled because it can't take in any job crunching with the data templates in queue to be uploaded.

          The LIGO-LHO cluster is similarly affected.  Christian, please ask Hannover to whitelist at least 198.129.208.230, if not the entire 198.129.208.0/23 subnet.
