After you ran tasks at 2x, did you divide the runtime by 2 to figure out if it is actually faster? Running a Titan V with that cpu should be better at 2x, even in windows. None of our windows systems run 1x as their ideal state.
I did. Here are 2 BRP7 tasks from the last time I tried a couple of days ago: Task1, Task2. Most of my tasks take between 4.5-5 min, when I tried to double up, each took over 15 min. I'll have to try O3AS again to show an example of that app.
The only other idea I have is let 2x run overnight. And don't mix tasks. All Brp7/ meerKat or all OS3GW. In general you want one GPU task offset from the other at least 20 percent. And you want the BOINCmgr set to between 2-4 threads below the available threads. Example, if you have 24 threads set it to run 20.
If my is calculator correct that is about 83 percent.
I have to run at least overnight to get stable task times.
