Not getting any O3ASBu here

Not getting any O3ASBu here even when setting it to only accept work from that single app, looks like the generation cant keep up with demand?

Do I have to make a DDoS script to scrape work units too or just suck hind tit and cross my fingers?

<edit:  This is also an interesting line in my host log file...

[version] no app version available: APP#56 (einstein_O3AS) PLATFORM#7 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu) min_version 0

What am I missing here? >

<edit2 appearently didnt have openCL installed... thought that nvidia-560-drivers came with it, guess not.

ocl-icd-libopencl1 now installed and it stops complaining in the log, still no O3ASBu though. >

It's not a DDoS if you are

It's not a DDoS if you are hitting once every 5 minutes. There are both Linux and Windows scripts available.  Do you need any?

Do we have an end of the year

Do we have an end of the year round up?

The results are driven by a change to low frequency data in the OS3GW. This slowed the processing down to 2-3 times slower. And after juggling it around the award is now 20,000 per task. This apparently has not thrown this app back into first place in production.

For Windows the Top producing application under Nvidia GPU's appears to be Brp7/ meerKat. Not sure how many tasks per GPU. Assuming 2x.

For Linux/Nvidia it appears to be Brp7/ meerKat.  2x or possibly 3x.

Both Windows and Linux versions of Brp7/meerKat tasks suffer from Invalids.

In Linux's case two Windows results often vote against a Linux result.

Would someone chime in for the two OS's and AMD GPU's?

From my notes on my Windows 11 with a Ryzen 5700G  (iGpu).  https://einsteinathome.org/host/12548065

I have a run of brp7/meerkat running 2x.  Its pretty much 45,000 rac.  So dropping to 1x to see if it goes up or down.

I think 1x goes down for brp7/meerkat.
I have started a run of OS3GW 1x.  It actually looks like there may be enough slack in the gpu load that I can run 2x and gain some traction.
Still want to test the Gtx 1030 6GB.

If you are allergic to Invalids, the OS3GW task appears to be the way to go.  And you get solid, surprise free, results.

Windows Brp7/meerKat appears to get fewer Invalids than Linux Brp7/meerKat does.

Respectfully.

Just installed a Nvidia gt

Just installed a Nvidia gt 710 2GB cpu on my Windows box.

It has downloaded and is now running a Brp7/meerKat task.

It looks like it is using 0.4 out of 2 GB of dedicated memory. It looks like this gt 710 could run 1x only based on the gpu load.

The Amd iGpu looks like it is running 435 out of 512M on a OS3GW task.  It does look like this task could run 2x based on a gpu load that is running 84-94%

I disabled the Amd gpu on Boinc. And set the Home profile to only send OS3GW.
And the system using the gt 710 (2 MB) is only running brp7/meerkat.

It now looks likely that a really small memory Nvidia card will NOT run OS3GW tasks.

I think it was Mikey who raised the issue about low memory gpus.

Next step is to swap the gt 710 with a gtx 1060 6GB and report those results.

Mikey is correct, your GT710 w/ 2 MB (I believe this should be 2 GB) won't run O3ASBu tasks.

You will need much more than 2 GB for a single task, like 2.3+ GB (to be safe)/task.  How do I know?  Look here...

My 3090 Hybrid is using 2.282 GB while my 3080 is using 2.238 GB for the same tasks.  It will vary depending on what GPU you use.

I can subscribe that a video

I can subscribe that a video card with only 2GB vram is not enough for current WU's.

My GT 1030 with 2GB ram does NOT work.
