    He's not only directing the E@H project, he also appears to code very useful software. I was just checking my SSDs for Data units written and found his name after doing some syntax wrong. Great tool!

      Yeah Bruce is responsible, from the days of hard disks, for the self reporting of errors. The idea is to get a heads up on a failing drive. Indeed very useful stuff.
