Iwas sooo close last game

You were :)   ... You've taken it very well, you really have

Now that there's less than two hours left before I have to get up - what. tell me, is the point of my going to bed? What  makes me think I'll actually get to sleep? And stop seeing squiggly lines and stuff floating about - like my eyes are slowly desiccating everything within their range...

Put your glasses on to remove the squiggly lines, if you already have them on then they could just need cleaning. :-)

Congratulations on the win,

Congratulations on the win, Kathryn. :-)  A recommendation if I may?  Mikey for fire warden.  We will not find more capable hands if memory serves.

Should Annie's head warrant attention

:-) have a good day one and all. I extend the hope that none here have been impacted by the troubling weather events making our headlines.

I accept as long as there is nothing physical to do, I retired long ago and I couldn't go back now even if I wanted too.

Winter storm is coming.  I

Winter storm is coming.  I heard there was a rush on grocery stores.  Like we've never seen rain turn to sleet to turn into ice to turn into snow.

Sometimes I wonder if the whole city looses its mind when winter comes.

I had one doc call to reschedule me for next week (no problems, just because I'm out of meds....).  So I decided to cancel my mammogram.  Not that I wanted to go in the first place.

You should see it where they don't usually get snow, the stores were PACKED when we got 1 to 3 inches a week or so ago!! I waited until all the impulse shoppers were gone and then got the stuff I really needed, oyster crackers for soup and other stuff like that. I already keep plenty of the usual stuff on hand to last me more than a week anyway and by then the roads would be passable enough to go somewhere else if needed!

As for the squishy test you would be MUCH happier if they found something earlier than later, we guys have our disliked test too, finding problems early on though is MUCH better than finding something that needs aggressive action because we waited.
