I have two separate accounts and I want them to be merged under the one e-mail adress. How do I do this?
I try to change the email address and I get the UNHELPFUL message
"There's already an account with this email address"
Well duh! that's the one I want to change to.

I don't think you can merge accounts.
If you could,I could merge someone elses credits to my own account.
I don't think that person would like that very much... ;)

That's what I thought at first. But if you know both passwords or account keys
this could be done. (If it would be implemented.)

How, I would need to know both their e-mail address and password or their Einstein account number.
Sharky T I think you have misunderstood or mistaken what I mean.
Both accounts are mine, I know both passwords, duh! I own both e-mail addresses, duh!
I want to change the incorrectly associated e-mail address to the one I use for ALL my Boinc accounts. I have no intention of doing any unethical thing like attempting to takeover someone else's account.
You still can't merge

You still can't merge accounts. It's by design.
But what you can do is change the email address on the account you don't want to use, but which has the email address that you want to use, to either another email address or one that doesn't exist.
Log in to the account with the email address you want to use.
Your account
Change email address
Change the address. Save it with the button.
Log out. (bottom of your account)
Log in to the account you want to change the email address to.
Your account.
Change email address. Now set it to the one you "took" from the other account.
Save it with the button.
Then discard of the other account.

Yes you're right,I was too quick to answer your question.
I realised that after Mickeal's post. Sorry.
The only ones who can MERGE accounts is the project folks.(to date anyway)
