Hi,
I'm new to einstein@home and I'm having some trouble with a task that refuses to progress in % while the computer is not in use. I have selected the GPU be in use when the computer is not in use after 1 minute. So I go away and let the PC do its thing and when I come back to check on progress - nothing!  The percentage done hasn't increased!  I can get the task to work by selecting use GPU always but then that interferes with my use of the PC (slow mouse and scrolling around). Can anyone advise what to do?

I'm running BOINC v7.16.6 on Linux Mint 64-bit.

Part of the problem is that the Gravitational Wave tasks can take up to 4gb of gpu memory and your card only has 2gb. Try switching  to only the Gamma Ray tasks on that card and see if that helps.

Okay, I've only selected

Okay, I've only selected Binary and Gamma-ray tasks in my preferences.

Still not getting GPU tasks to kick in when my PC is not being used. Anyone?
