Hey, since July 23 it seems than none of my work is getting turned in. I get the following message: "Message from server: platform 'windows_x86_64' not found."
I'm running Windows XP 64 and have been for some time now with no problems completeing work. This new patch for platform compatability seems to have had the reverse effect on XP64.

I've looked at this thread. I have no file on my computer called app_info.xml

Sorry, can't check it for myself, but the (currently) last message in the thread I mentioned, gives a description how to get E@H to run.

You have to create it yourself. Or use the 32 bit core client.

You don't have to create it yourself but you do have to edit it.
As per the instructions of Ohiomike, just download the zip file for the Windows 4.33 beta app and unpack it into your EAH project folder. You will then need to perform the edits on the enclosed app_info.xml file, as instructed in the referenced message. Once you have done that simply stop and then restart BOINC.
EDIT: Please be aware that there are further app versions that now exist since Ohiomike wrote his instructions. He mentions 4.28 as the last one. There are now 4.32 and 4.33 to do as well.
Cheers,
Gary.
Thankyou to all that replyed.
