    If you are running behind on your projects I am not surprised because the BOINC screensaver uses 100 % CPU on an idle computer, thus slowing down the processing close to nothing.

      You could turn the screensaver off. It's nice to look at for a week or two but after that (for me)it gets old and static.

        agreed, besides, if its an lcd screen the screen saver dose nothing but shorten the life of the back light.. heck im running with a crt (cant see lcd's) and i have it set to "blank" after 5 minutes and power off after 20..

        seeing without seeing is something the blind learn to do, and seeing beyond vision can be a gift.
