screensaver again

Bring up BOINC managaer. Click on the "tasks" tab. Click on a task. On the left is a "show graphics" tab. Click it. Not all tasks will produce a graphic so if you don't get a graphic on the first one try another. I am not sure if it is limited to a type of task, i.e., CPU vs. GPU.

[EDIT] well I just tried this on an ubuntu 14 box and "no graphic". Maybe its a Windows thing. I don't have any E@H running on a windows box to try it. I know it worked at least once for me. :>)

The only project screensaver

The only project screensaver that works on my system is Einstein. I only run GPU from Einstein. You have to install xscreensaver and boinc-screensaver and remove the ubuntu screensaver (idk how it is called, light-locker on xubuntu).
Then go to screensaver settings (in menu, or xscreensaver-demo command) and enable boincscr.
If boincscr is not in the list, open .xscreensaver file (it is hidden) from your home directory in text editor and add following line somewhere along simillar lines:
- GL: boincscr -root \n\
Then it should show up in the settings. Do not forget to set timeout and stuff.

Note: rosetta and wcg have screensaver on linux, but their graphics is shown behind the screensaver which is kind of useless.
