I posted this question in Cafe Einstein, which was probably the wrong place.

When I signed up I chose NO when it asked if I wanted the visual screensaver. Now I would like to have it and don't know how to get it. Can somebody please tell me how to add the screensaver? Thanks.

Why should anyone in Berkeley

Why should anyone in Berkeley care about Einstein@home screensavers? ;-)

Aside from the obvious

Aside from the obvious question asked by Gundolf, you're wrong. The BOINC screen saver for Linux is being written by someone in Berkeley, as shown here. It's just not finished yet and at this moment on a back-burner as other, more important things need to be added and tested.

(In case you don't see it: screensaver_x11.cpp, "Added Linux screensaver from Nils Brause".)
