I am running BOINC 5.2.13 for SETI and EINSTEIN. When SETI runs I see their screensaver. When EINSTEIN run the screen is black. Why doesn't the EINSTEIN screensave display?
Hi, and welcome to the EAH project. We hope you enjoy your stay here.
I've seen several reports of screen blanking being fixed by upgrading to the very latest drivers for your graphics hardware.
Your computers are hidden so I can't see if you have been having any "Client errors" in addition to the screen going black. If you have any errors, please check out the beta science application which is linked on the front page of the website. You can also see a lengthy discussion about what the beta app is all about in this thread. The latest version of the beta app was released on 20 Sept and announced in this post. It's probably worthwhile reading the discussion from that point onwards if you want to see how this app has helped with graphics display issues. There are also many threads on the Problems board about graphics related issues.
Screen save black.

Hope some of this helps.
