Running without a GPU

    Folks. I am running several projects in BOINC and only have one GPU. Several of my programs require GPU's it seems so I can only one run at a time. I do have a 6 core processor. Is it possible to crunch numbers for this project with just 1 CPU and no GPU?

      Yes.

      You can use the Einstein website settings found at your account|Preferences|Project

      One configuration option is to say Yes to the Use CPU question and No to all three flavors of Use GPU.

      Another option is to manage the individual Applications.

      Even if you say Yes to use CPU you still won't get any Einstein work if you have not allowed a CPU application which currently has work available to distribute.
