I rebooted after updating video drivers and this is what happened, sorry to any that were waiting for my machine to validate your results. Boinc decided to flush them all and download new ones.

Reset Project???

Maybe the restart took place the same time that data of BOINC was being written into the file, so data loss occured (BOINC received shutdown signal and exited).

You should have exited BOINC before installing, as all (most) installers suggest - close all your programs before continuing. But the problem - that's just guessing what happened.
