That's strange. It's working for me. Look at this thread: https://einsteinathome.org/content/image-test you should see five "Mikes" and one antenna building in the first four posts.

No need to SHOUT. No, color choices are unrelated to the image upload and display issues which we're working on.

It's just very frustrating when it works for some people but not for others.

Are you talking about

Are you talking about external images (via URL) or uploaded images? Also, please clear your browser's cache, just to make sure.

Aha, yes it is

Aha, yes it is indeed!

First I could select and upload my usual image without anything objecting. This I did as Profile image under Account | Profile | Edit. However, while this made the image in the left margin visible in my profile, it did not get used in the forums.

For that to happen, I needed to do the same thing, so pick it and upload it again, but as Avatar in Account | Preferences | Community. Then it´s OK, or so it looks to me.

Thank you!

Yep, there's a profile image

Yep, there's a profile image and a separate forum avatar.

I can see embedded pictures in each message in the forums now, it's good.

Has anyone else noticed that

Has anyone else noticed that you can't reply to a post made by someone on your ignore list??

People are filtered not just because you don't want to read their posts, also to stop unwanted PM's from them.

A day or two ago, another

A day or two ago, another participant reported that the forum display was treating url tag cases differently in the same post.  At the time I thought maybe both he and I just failed to spot his error.  But today I made a simple post in the cafe forum which seems to me to have the same problem.  I'll post the two lines involved here in case they really do represent an instance of a forum software flaw.

Links for the webcasts for today's JCSAT-16 launch (or tomorrow if you are thinking UTC or living in a more up-to-date part of the globe)

technical webcast just launch pics and com loop chatter.

[url=https://youtu.be/QZTCEO0gvLo]hosted webcast[/url] much more talking heads and Hawthorne pics

As seen on my PC in both Preview, and after posting, the first of these two looks as it should, as a blue link using the text between the opening and ending url tags, but the second is mangled in appearance, though still functional as the intended link.

Nice new site.

Nice new site.  Congratulations!

You'll probably want a new favicon.ico with the new logo.

Regards,

Eric

When I attempt to log into my

When I attempt to log into my account from the home page, the page refreshes to show the home page again, ignoring my entries, i.e., no "Account" option is shown in the menu bar of the page. It consistently takes two tries before I'm logged in.

I haven't seen this problem reported by anyone else, so maybe it's unique to my computer.
