Removal of 2 Einstein accounts from Boinc

    I have an old URL for Einstein @home. I have tried to remove this URL for the last year and BOINC will not let me. What is the problem? I added another Einstein account and I had 2 accts on Boinc. I could only remove the one that had the correct URL the removal button on the original account that I have had since 2011 that has the old URL the button for removal is grayed out, how can I change this old URL to the correct one? This is working in Boinc. Thanks...

      This is a problem that some people experience from time to time.  It seems to be associated with the use of the BAM account manager or with the use of Boinctasks.  These are things I've never used and have no knowledge of.

      The only information I know about is contained in this thread.  Have a careful read of what is posted there, particularly the explanation given by Christian Beer.  If you are unable to resolve it yourself, I would suggest that you send a PM to Shawn Kwang (who also contributed to the thread).  He would be the current staff person who should be able to assist.
