This continues a thread I started, but am not allowed to add to.

I found a PARTIAL way of connect my new computer to my old account, even though I've lost the old password and access to the email account set to receive lost password information.

Copy only file account_einstein.phys.uwm.edu.xml from the old account to the C:\ProgramData\BOINC directory on the new computer.

BOINC treats this as enough to connect the new computer, although using the same authenticator.

My new computer can now download tasks and upload their outputs.  However, it still cannot post to any forum that requires having the correct password, and cannot change the password.

Is there any way left to recover more access, such as the ability to change my password?

I thought there was a way using your cross-project id or your weak account key both located here:

I believe your cross project id is consistent across all the projects so when you sign up I think you can use that.
