Is there a description of how RAC is calculated? I am guessing the pending results don't carry the weight of credited results, but I wonder if they contribute at all to RAC.
Thanks.

RAC is computed only on credit granting events. That's one of the reasons your total account RAC isn't necessarily the same as the sum of the individual hosts.

No, pending credits don’t count at all, because they’re just claims (i.e. one client’s estimate) for results that haven’t been validated. RAC is calculated each time credit is granted; it’s a kind of weighted average in which the previous total decays exponentially with a half-life of one week. A detailed explanation, including the actual formula used, may be found in the BOINC Wiki RAC article.
