You can wait like all others until the scheduler is up.

I'm curious, where did you see the above message stating the project is down for maintainance?

You should be seeing that on your message tab.

Ford, it's a quote from his BOINC log file (click on the "Messages" tab in BOINC manager).
I take it you've bever looked at your own logs...? :-)

RE: You can wait like all

Got no problem at all with waiting, but I don't think a couple of sentences posted to the message board or the Einstein status page, explaining the problem and giving an estimate of the downtime is asking for all that much.
What do you think?

I have to agree with you.
The really puzzling thing is that Einstein has always been one of the best projects for keeping it's users informed of problems/what was happening - second only behind SETI in that respect. Just look at the fantastic job they did a couple of weeks ago when the RAID array went down, when by all rights they should've been out partying like the rest of us.
OK, so last Monday was a holiday in the US, but it's Wednesday now....
One other thing, it's no use posting an obscure message in one of these message boards since the vast majority of users don't come in here - of 20 or so people I know who crunch for various BOINC projects, I'm the only one who EVER reads the message boards, even when there are problems!
So come on guys, just a couple of minutes spent popping some sort of update on the main page would help immensely - it's just human nature to get frustrated when no information is forthcoming.
