Watching the app with boinc manager shows far too many runs failing with "exited with zero status but no finished file." It happens in the first thirty seconds and then repeats over and over. I read the old thread but didn't see anything helpful. Only one app "Gravitational Wave search O2 Multi-Directional GPU 2.07 (GW-opencl-nvidia)" is a problem, the gamma ray app seems fine. I should mention I am only running GPU (nvidia) but when I tested CPU processing it ran fine.
I am running Linux with the most recent Ubuntu and what I think are the newest NVidia drivers now but the problem started with an older Ubuntu install. I changed settings for things like CPU usage and throttling and even enabled the beta tsting option but nothing has helped.
Thank you.

you computers are hidden so I can only speculate as to the problem. I'm going to guess you have a GPU with 2-3GB of memory?
what nvidia GPU do you have?

that's your problem. a large number of these Gravitational Wave tasks require more than 3GB of GPU memory.
some smaller tasks will fit, but you'll get errors whenever the ones larger than 3GB show up. you should either stop running the GW GPU tasks on that system and ony run GR, or upgrade the GPUs to ones with at least 4GB of memory.

Thank you. It seems like the app should know not to run with to little memory though.
