The lilies are looking good

The lilies are looking good today.  On plant has 3 flowers above the surface.  They truly are amazing plants.  I have also fixed the timeout period on my stream.  I stopped using youtube  because I found they were limiting live streams to 8 hours then you would have to restart the stream.

You can see the pond and lilies here:  http://usefulramblings.org/?page_id=10801 and note the user:password

While I was trying to work

While I was trying to work out if I could see fish in it, I did. Except it might have been a moth streaking across the lens.

I'll know more with more study.

I'm enjoying your pond :) and am extremely fond of water lilies too! Thank you for giving us a window on it, robl, and them :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

Anniet, Thanks.  A couple of

Anniet,

Thanks.  A couple of nights ago I watched frogs swimming.  They utilized the frog kick.  What else would we expect.  They certainly are fast.

This morning I got a ping from someone on another website and I find myself having to shutdown this camera because of security problems.  I am trying to work it out but...?   Damn I ordered a new PTZ camera because I wanted visitors to see the beauty of lilies but not sure how that is now going to work out.  Stay tuned.  "ribbit, ribbit"

I've added frogs to my

I've added frogs to my pond-watching list for September :) Sad I missed them last year.

My pond developed a new focal point Sunday night. An upside down "TO LET" sign. Complete with post, protruding nails, and everything.

spent 3 hours weeding around

spent 3 hours weeding around the pond yesterday.  The pea gravel is perfect for weed growth and germination.  I thought about using agent orange and while it would complement the color of the pea gravel it would not do well with the lily in the pond which is struggling with a recent cold snap.  http://www.usefulramblings.org:8888/login.htm?page=%2F  user/pw:  guest guest

I am going to have to reduce the gravel area using sod so that can reduce the weeding effort and just use a lawn mower.

On the subject of frogs they really move through the water with a single frog "kick".  They should be back when the weather warms and remains warm.
