Running BOINC 6.4.5 under Vista Home Premium. Had a problem a while back about "daily quota of 2 results", which didn't correspond to my preferences. This cleared up and I was receiving WU's according to preferences, and everything was fine.
Now, I am consistently getting "Output file absent" on those WU's that go to completion. Furthermore I am now getting the "daily quota.." message while not seeing any tasks working in the Task page. I have reset, uninstalled and reinstalled, and nothing seems to make a difference. Can anyone help. I am crunching away on my XP machine with no problems. Both machines are under my account name, so I am bothered and bewildered, is my Vista Machine bewitched?
P.S. I am seeing next to my posts in the Problems forum that I have 0 credit. I have nearly 605K cobblestones and an Avg of 605 so this doesn't make sense to me. Ah well, many things don't make sense to me.

Hi,
You're getting an error "Can't acquire lockfile" on at least one of your tasks and the info in this message may pertain to your situation.
The reason for the "daily quota" message is becuase you are being limited in the tasks you are sent until you are able to consistantly return valid results.
