I see problems with all my hosts trying to run v0.12. Tasks stop at 0:00:40 elapsed time with this message:
"Task ...(task ID shows here)..... postponed for 600 seconds: Waiting to acquire lock". Windows 10 and 7 hosts... and happens both with AMD and Nvidia cards. Even 1 task at a time won't run. Task process will disappear from process list (in Windows Task Manager) while this condition happens.

EDIT: After 600 seconds task will change it's state to "Waiting to run... " for a brief moment. Then it starts running from the beginning (elapsed time starts from 00:00:00) and stops again at 40 secs with the same message... and loop starts all over again.

EDIT 2: Average CPU use for that 40 seconds "run" is 0.00 %. It seems the process can't do anything at all until it terminates.

I second that... I have the

I second that... I have the same issue with the new beta program (version 0.12). It says exactly the same thing. I'm using a Nvidia card (GTX 650 Ti).

Just an FYI.

I'm also seeing the same as Richie on a AMD Vega 56 card on Windows with the 0.12 version.

Edit: One of my problematic tasks: https://einsteinathome.org/task/846119841

I had that yesterday but today they are running just fine, I hit reset project inside the Boinc Manager and they started running again. It download some new files so I'm guessing during the problems they had yesterday lots of things were affected.

Hi! Are you sure about the version number of those tasks currently running successfully... ? Surprised I get only v0.11 tasks for Nvidia now. AMD card gets v0.12 tasks but they still face the same problem... even after I reset project.

You are correct I am running:

Gravitational Wave Engineering run on LIGO O1 Open Data v0.12 () windows_x86_64 tasks and DID lose every task in my cache when doing the reset. I am running that task on an Nvidia gpu and these tasks:

Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 on GPUs v1.18 () windows_x86_64 and Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 on GPUs v1.20 () windows_x86_64 tasks on my AMD gpu. But I do have some:

Gravitational Wave Engineering run on LIGO O1 Open Data v0.11 () windows_x86_64 ready to run on my AMD gpu machine.

I have every check box checked so I get tasks from any sub-project that has tasks available.
